Joey and Brandi first met in August 2006, over the next two years their friendship blossomed into romance as the two enjoyed sharing their time together doing various activities besides photography. The two would often go camping, hiking, watch movies, watch plays, and travel together. During this time Joey and Brandi each had their own portraiture business, occasionally working together on a project or shoot. In spring 2008 the two started to realize that they were wasting a lot of talent and time working separately and began doing more shoots together. They found that they enjoyed working together on portrait sessions and weddings and also found that their clients truly had a blast working with them.

Joey and Brandi pour their heart and soul into each portrait session and wedding they photographs, each image is created out of love, their love for one another, love for photography, and most of all the love they share for their clients and having the chance to truly capture the Cherished Moments in their lives.

Despite each of them having a degree in Photographic Technology, they constantly strive to further their education and knowledge in photography and often attend seminars led by the industries leading photographers. Their work has been featured in various newspapers including the Lenoir News-Topic, Charlotte Observer, and Hickory Daily Record. Their work has also been featured in other publications such as Branches and Caldwell the Book. They have had their work on display at various locations in the foothills and mountains of North Carolina including Taste Full Beans and Barnes & Noble in Hickory, NC, Catawba Valley Medical Center in Newton, NC, and the Jones House in Boone, NC. Their work has also been on display at close to a dozen other locations in Hickory, Hudson, and Lenoir, NC and their work has also been featured on various local and national TV stations.
